Pearl Microphone Labs DS 60 Multi-Patte Stereo Condenser Microphone
Multi-patte stereo condenser microphone with 4 outputs allows for an infinite variety of polar pattes that can be chosen at mixdown
This may very well be the last microphone you'll ever need. Two dual membrane capsules in one microphone housing with four individual outputs. This will enable you to record anything from mono (cardioid, figure-of-eight, omni or anything in between) to XY and SM stereo and Blumlein to full suround four channel sound on up to four separate tracks. Imagine the total freedom to decide, at any stage during production right up until the mixdown session, what characteristics you prefer for the project at hand.
Your sound source may be a church organ, a choir, a small ensemble or a large orchestra or even a single instrumentalist. The DS 60 will record both the performance and the room for you, and you decide upon the ultimate sound at any stage during production.
The unique Pearl rectangular capsules really shine in the DS 60, providing a really flat frequency response and an outstanding, very true sound reproduction. The DS 60 is finished in black with a gold plated grille and engraved model number. A red LED indicates that phantom power is on.
